Joe Cole believes Todd Boehly will be working on deals to sign players for Chelsea throughout the World Cup.
Speaking to the Express, Cole predicted a busy period for the Stamford Bridge owner whilst the international tournament is underway.
Boehly to work whilst the World Cup is on
Graham Potter will bid farewell to several of his senior stars at the end of the month as they head off to Qatar.
Although the Blues are set to be well represented at the global event, Potter will still have plenty of personnel to work with at Cobham.

He might have a few new faces to welcome once the World Cup concludes and the January transfer window opens up.
Chelsea are not expected to remain quite in the market after the New Year, despite boasting one of the best squads across the European landscape.
This potential movement towards acquiring fresh talent will be spearheaded by Boehly and his bank.
According to Cole, the American owner will likely use the World Cup as a perfect opportunity to get the transfer wheels in motion.
“I think the work would have been done there would have been processed but the clubs will go away for four weeks and they will be able to be meeting, there’ll be talks of agents and if there is availability,” said the former Chelsea winger.
“We may see more business in this window because of that because it’s actually more time to actually think about them and put the deals in place.
“Sometimes in January, things don’t happen because of just because simply because of time constraints.
“We may actually see the club trying to get more business but it’s certainly something to watch for. It’s an unusual time.”

Will Chelsea sign any one in January?
As is typical at this time of year, numerous names have been linked with a move either to or away from Chelsea.
The likes of Jude Bellingham, Wilfried Zaha, Rafael Leao and Milan Skriniar among others continue to crop up in conversation.
Academy graduate Jude Soonsup-Bell and Jorginho could reportedly head in the opposite direction.
Whilst nothing is set in stone yet, expect some sparks to erupt from the Bridge in January.
