Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has shared the one thing that he always sees teammate Enzo Fernandez doing in the gym.
In a young and inexperienced Chelsea squad this season, Tosin Adarabioyo, 27, and Enzo Fernandez, 24, are two of the more senior figures in the dressing room.
It’s no surprise that Tosin and Fernandez are both in Chelsea’s leadership group, who organised a team meal in February to try unite the squad ahead of the end-of-season run in.
Fernandez, who joined the Blues in February 2023, is currently making a fantastic impact on his side. The central midfielder has scored five goals and created nine assists in 33 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign.

Tosin Adarabioyo claims Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez always does bicep curls in the gym
During a segment on UEFA’s YouTube channel, Tosin claimed that Blues midfielder Fernandez is “always doing” bicep curls in the gym sessions.
When asked which Chelsea player is most likely to win an arm wrestle, Tosin said: “I’ll put myself up there, but who else have we got? Enzo Fernandez is always doing bicep curls in the gym, so Enzo could be up there.”
When you think of Chelsea’s midfield, Romeo Lavia or Moises Caicedo spring to mind as the physical enforcers. However, Fernandez more than olds his own as a complete central midfielder who does a bit of everything.
John Terry has been impressed by Fernandez after recently naming him one of Chelsea’s best performers this season.

Enzo Fernandez in a real purple patch of form
Fernandez should reflect on a strong individual season so far, but he’s really raised his levels in the last couple of weeks.
| Match | Minutes played | Goals | Assists | Match rating |
| Chelsea 1-0 Leicester City | 90 | 0 | 1 | 8.6 |
| Copenhagen 1-2 Chelsea | 45 | 1 | 0 | 7.5 |
| Chelsea 4-0 Southampton | 89 | 0 | 0 | 8.5 |
| Aston Villa 2-1 Chelsea | 90 | 1 | 0 | 7.7 |
It’s not an easy task for the Argentine star trying to live up to a £107m price tag. He’s showing he can contribute in all areas of the game for Chelsea, though.
Chelsea supporters value Fernandez as instrumental in the current side, something that Maresca clearly must agree with.
