Chelsea will have been frustrated to not come away from Stamford Bridge with all three points yesterday as they were held to a draw by Nottingham Forest.

Enzo Maresca’s men will have been hoping to go into the international break on the back of six consecutive wins in all competitions, however he had to settle for another draw at home in the Premier League.

However, they were forced to come from behind to rescue a point, with them losing ground at the top of the table on Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

There were some seriously impressive individual displays from Chelsea players at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea fans were thrilled with Levi Colwill’s performance at the back.

Noni Madueke also put in a very strong showing, with him being described as the bright spark in attack for the Blues.

The winger found the net to level the game in the second half, with him seeming to send a message to Maresca in his celebrations.

Madueke posted on Instagram without a caption after the game, with Chelsea loanee Trevoh Chalobah one of those who took to the comments to respond.

He simply said: “Building”, suggesting that he believes the England international is continuing to go from strength to strength for the club.

Madueke had not found the net since his hat-trick against Wolves back in August, and was no doubt looking over his shoulder at the performances of Pedro Neto.

However, Maresca kept the faith in the former PSV man, and that looks as if it will still be the case going forwards following his display yesterday.

Chalobah meanwhile has not enjoyed the best start to life on loan away from Stamford Bridge, with his Crystal Palace side sitting in the bottom three of the Premier League.

The centre-back position currently at the club is being tied down by Colwill and Wesley Fofana, although the latter is suspended for their next game against Liverpool.
