Enzo Maresca is set to make a number of changes to his starting side for Chelsea’s second game against Newcastle in just four days.

The Blues are making the trip up to the North East to take on the Magpies in the Carabao Cup, after they picked up all three points at Stamford Bridge.

It was Cole Palmer’s brilliance that seperated the sides in the Premier League, however the likelihood is that he doesn’t start in the cup due to the plethora of talent waiting to get their chance.

This could see Joao Felix start, with the Portugal international yet to make his first appearance from the beginning in the league so far since joining again.

Maresca has frequently made as many as 11 changes when the cup competitions come around, and this could see new players all across the pitch tonight.

Filip Jorgensen to start for Chelsea tonight

One position it has been claimed this is definitely going to happen is between the sticks, after Robert Sanchez has started every Premier League game so far this season.

According to the Mail Online, Filip Jorgensen is going to start tonight as he looks to continue to stake his claim for more minutes for the Blues.

After joining in the summer, the goalkeeper has featured in every cup game so far this season.

He suffered a concussion on international duty, with Jorgensen’s international manager describing him as ‘unlucky’ as he was forced to miss the trip to Liverpool.

Chelsea fans growing frustrated with Sanchez

Chelsea fans have been showing frustration at Sanchez inside Stamford Bridge when he is in possession of the ball, with his passing radar off during the game against Newcastle on Sunday.

Sanchez has kept the faith of Maresca though, and is likely to continue to get opportunities in the Premier League in the coming weeks.

Jorgensen though has a chance to lay down a real marker and put some serious pressure on his teammate tonight.
