RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons and former Chelsea winger Noni Madueke were once teammates at PSV Eindhoven.
There is a possibility that Simons and Madueke reunite at the Emirates, with Arsenal thought to be interested in signing the former after prising the latter away from Stamford Bridge.
However, there is also a chance that Simons ends up at Chelsea. In fact, it has actually been claimed that Simons would love to join Chelsea this summer.
If he does, then he will get the opportunity to cause Arsenal more problems again, rather than help them.

Xavi Simons was part of PSV Eindhoven team that beat Arsenal
Simons started for PSV in a Europa League tie against Premier League heavyweights Arsenal back in the 2022/23 season and had a really good game.
That night, the attacking midfielder completed two key passes and both of the dribbles he attempted as PSV went on to win 2-0.

Simons was eventually replaced by Madueke, and Arsenal would have been glad to have seen the back of him.
However, if the Gunners are not the ones to sign Simons during this transfer window, then they may have to go up against the 22-year-old again.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, while Arsenal are monitoring Simons, Chelsea are proving to be the “most concrete option” for him at this moment.
For many Chelsea fans, Simons could be the perfect addition to Enzo Maresca‘s squad.

Why some clubs have concerns about Xavi Simons
While Chelsea may be weighing up a move for Simons, it appears that some clubs have a couple of worries about the Dutchman.
Last week, it was claimed that there are clubs who have concerns about Simons’ attitude and professionalism.
There is no denying that Simons is a talented player, though, as he showed against Arsenal that night. It is no shock that both Chelsea and Arsenal are admirers, with a move to England now looking like a real possibility.
