Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has claimed on ‘The Hard Truth’ podcast that Chelsea would win the Premier League in the next two years if they sign Ivan Toney.
The Brentford striker has enjoyed a sensational start to the season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 10 league games.
He is only four goals off his whole season tally from last season.

Chelsea meanwhile are still looking to work out who will start the majority of games up front for them for this campaign.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has shown signs of his old self, however his age makes it difficult to rely on him.
There have also been rumours that AC Milan may look to strike a deal over young striker Armando Broja.
MacAnthony, who had the striker for two prolific seasons at Peterborough, has claimed that any issues the Blues have can be solved by Toney, who he tried to sell to Graham Potter before at Brighton.
Chelsea urged to sign Toney
He said: “Ivan is on a different level. Is there better number nine at Chelsea? Is there a better number nine at Manchester United?
“Chelsea are looking great under Potter but they don’t have a number nine like a Drogba. Ivan Toney is Chelsea’s Drogba, I’m telling you right now. Remember what type of player Drogba was, look at Toney, the physicality, leading the line, giving defenders nightmares. Everything about him, big goals at big moments, a leader and a match winner.
“I don’t think a lot of clubs have a £100 million to spend in January. The only one would be Chelsea. If Todd Boehly has any sense with his people.
“It’s really funny because we tried to sell him Brighton when Graham Potter was there. We had Barry Fry try and contact the owner but he was out in Australia.

“I know he wasn’t a happy man because when he got back he had missed calls off Baz, and nobody at the time said to him he had missed calls, and I know they feel they missed out on one.
“I think if Ivan Toney went in the Chelsea team, they could battle with Man City. Get Toney to Chelsea and they would win the title in the next two years.”
The Blues are reportedly in the final stages of completing a deal for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku.
However, the deadly finishing of Toney is something the Blues could seriously do with, following a couple of seasons flooded with missed opportunities.
