Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka was linked with a move to AC Milan during the summer transfer window.
It was claimed that AC Milan considered signing Carney Chukwuemeka as they looked to improve their midfield options.
The 20-year-old would not have been the first player to have left Chelsea for Milan had a deal materialised.
In recent years, the Italian giants have signed Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori from their English counterparts. They now appear to be eyeing another footballer at Stamford Bridge.

AC Milan now interested in Cesare Casadei
Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei have barely played for Chelsea this season, but Milan could be about to offer the latter a way out of west London.
According to MilanLive, the Serie A outfit are interested in Casadei, whom the Blues are open to letting go of in January.
The midfielder has made just one appearance under Enzo Maresca this season, which came in the Carabao Cup, so he may not be against the idea of a return to Italy.
Maresca was seen warning Casadei not to leave his position during Chelsea’s Carabao Cup tie against Barrow.
Cesare Casadei should join AC Milan
If Casadei has the chance to join Milan in January, then he should take it. The Rossoneri are one of the biggest clubs in Italy and the world, while Casadei is not going to get any game time this season if he remains at Chelsea.
The San Siro has proven to be a great home for several former Chelsea players as well, with Pulisic managing to revive his career there, for example.
The winger has been in excellent form for Milan this term, scoring four goals in four consecutive games.
Napoli are another club who have looked at Casadei, but if the Italy U21 international does leave Chelsea for an Italian side, it looks like Milan will be his destination.
