AC Milan are now trying to sign Chelsea target Yunus Musah in addition to Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano.

So, what are the details involving Yunus Musah and Chelsea? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well – according to 90min – Chelsea have again been in contact with the American’s representatives after failing with a bid to sign him in January.

Now – however – the Blues face competition from AC Milan for Musah’s signature.

Romano believes the Italian giants have opened talks to sign the United States international from Valencia, after the Spanish giants made it clear they would be willing to sell him for €20m (£17m).

The reliable Italian journalist adds that AC Milan are expected to submit an official bid for Musah – who has been described as “spectacular” – soon.

In the 2022/23 campaign, the 20-year-old helped Valencia avoid relegation from La Liga with some excellent performances, making 33 league appearances in total.

Musah could line up alongside Chelsea stars at AC Milan

If AC Milan do manage to beat Chelsea to Musah’s signature, then he could be lining up alongside the likes of Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic at the San Siro.

A story from Calciomercato claims that AC Milan have agreed a £13m deal with Chelsea to sign Loftus-Cheek, with a medical now set to take place.

In regards to Pulisic, the American is said to be unhappy at Stamford Bridge and is desperate to leave, according to the Evening Standard.

AC Milan – according to Sky Italy – are also keen to sign the Chelsea No.10 in addition to Loftus-Cheek, so the pair could be heading to the San Siro together, where they will reunite with Fikayo Tomori.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as AC Milan could pinch two players from Chelsea and also a target for Mauricio Pochettino in Musah.
