Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka could still end up getting a move to another big club this summer.

Right now, a return to Borussia Dortmund appears to be off. Dortmund did not take up their option to sign Chukwuemeka permanently after his loan spell with them and have not been able to convince their English counterparts to agree to another loan deal.

It is thought that the 21-year-old wants to rejoin Niko Kovac’s side, so he will be disappointed with the development.

However, Chukwuemeka‘s agents have been working hard to find him a move to another top European team.

Carney Chukwuemeka’s agent exploring potential Juventus move

Amid Chelsea‘s interest in Xavi Simons, RB Leipzig have enquired about signing Chukwuemeka.

Juventus could also be a possible destination for the England youth international after being sounded out about a transfer.

According to Tuttosport, Chukwuemeka’s agents have been exploring avenues that they already know about, with Juventus being one of them.

In January, it was claimed that Juventus spoke to Chelsea about signing Chukwuemeka, though nothing happened in the end.

The former Aston Villa youth player eventually went on to join Dortmund on loan, but it looks like a move to Juventus could open up for him again.

Why Chelsea won’t sanction another loan for Carney Chukwuemeka

Chukwuemeka’s preference is believed to be a return to Dortmund, but Matt Law of The Telegraph has explained why that is unlikely to happen as things stand.

According to Law, there are English clubs who want to sign Chukwuemeka permanently. As a result, Chelsea are unwilling to loan their player to Dortmund again.

Before Mohammed Kudus’ move to Tottenham Hotspur, it was claimed that West Ham United were considering Chukwuemeka, so the Hammers could be one Premier League outfit who are interested in buying him.

Of course, a move to a European giant like Juventus will be much more appealing, unless Chukwuemeka decides that he wants to remain in England.
