The future of one Chelsea player is now a topic for discussion between the Blues and one European club.
With just over two weeks left in the January transfer window, how many Chelsea stars will leave Stamford Bridge mid-season?
Interestingly, there are several Blues players tipped for potential transfer exits. For example, Everton are preparing for talks with Chelsea about Ben Chilwell.
In fresh transfer speculation, one French club have launched a move for another Chelsea player.

Marseille begin talks for Chelsea star Renato Veiga
According to L’Equipe, Marseille have started ‘concrete discussions’ with Chelsea for the transfer of Renato Veiga.
It is understood that Ligue 1 club Marseille ‘love’ Veiga’s profile as a player, so they’ve kickstarted talks to try sign him.
Apparently, Chelsea are willing to let the 21-year-old youngster leave the club, but they’d demand either a permanent sale or a loan with an obligation to buy clause.
Even though Veiga only joined the Blues last summer in a £12m deal (BBC) from Basel, he’s at the centre of lots of transfer speculation in January.
Veiga is pushing to leave Chelsea to join Borussia Dortmund because he’s got ambitions of playing primarily as a centre-back. In his 18 Blues appearances this season, the versatile Portugal international has operated as a left-back, centre-half, or a midfielder.
Chelsea want more than £20m to let Veiga go in January, so it’ll be interesting to see what new suitors Marseille do in the transfer race.

Renato Veiga could get his wish on Monday
Levi Colwill is an injury doubt for Chelsea ahead of their important Premier League fixture at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night. If the centre-back is missing, he’ll leave a giant void in the heart of defence.
As mentioned above, Veiga’s ambition is to play as a central defender. We think that the left-footer could actually be the most natural replacement for Colwill versus Wolves.
Despite the fact that the transfer speculation is going on in the background, Veiga is still involved with the Chelsea group and featuring in a matchday squad. The Portuguese talent may be needed as a left-sided centre-back in a couple of days time.
