AC Milan signed Joao Felix from Chelsea on loan during the January transfer window.

At the end of the season, AC Milan could try to sign Joao Felix permanently, but it looks like they may face competition from one of their rivals.

The 25-year-old decided to join Sergio Conceicao’s side after failing to break into the Chelsea first team.

Under Enzo Maresca, Felix was only able to make three starts in the Premier League.

Inter Milan want Joao Felix

Milan’s rivals Inter Milan could try to raid Chelsea for Felix this summer as they look to improve their own attack.

According to Inter Live, Inter have been keen on Felix since the last transfer window and could make a move for him after the conclusion of this campaign.

It may make more sense for Chelsea to do business with Milan, though. Their interest in Felix could give Chelsea the opportunity to sign Theo Hernandez.

With Renato Veiga currently on loan at Juventus and Ben Chilwell not in Maresca’s plans, the Blues may need to buy a new left-back this summer.

Chelsea fans won’t be happy if Joao Felix is sold to Inter Milan

Whether it is to Inter or Milan, some Chelsea supporters are going to be really disappointed if the club sell Felix.

The Portugal international remains a very exciting and talented attacking player. And if a top Champions League side, who are probably better than the Blues at the moment, can find use for Felix, then surely Maresca can as well.

While Chelsea fans will not be expecting Felix to oust Cole Palmer out of the starting XI, there has definitely been times this season where the former Atletico Madrid star could have been used up front or on the left. Instead, he was overlooked and only given three starts in the Premier League before his loan move to Milan.

With Nicolas Jackson currently out injured, he could have been one possible solution for Maresca.
