Roma striker Tammy Abraham could end up returning to Stamford Bridge and re-signing for Chelsea in the future.
That is according to a report from TEAMtalk.
Tammy Abraham, who’s a product of the Chelsea academy, was sold by the Blues to Roma back in 2021.
The English centre-forward’s enjoyed some real success in Serie A with Roma, albeit he’s currently sidelined with a long-term injury.
Now, there’s speculation that he could seal a return to the Premier League next year.

Chelsea graduate wants fresh move
TEAMtalk claims on Wednesday that Abraham could follow manager Jose Mourinho out of Roma’s exit door in 2024.
It is explained that the 26-year-old striker is ‘keen’ on returning to the Premier League and is prepared to depart Italy next summer. For this season, he’ll stick it out in Rome where he’s recovering from a long-term cruciate knee ligament injury, with his return not expected until at least February.
The report says that Roma will want close to £45million for Abraham, who’s scored 36 goals in 107 appearances for them.
In addition, English top-flight clubs Brentford and Aston Villa are both interested in signing Abraham.
Tammy Abraham back home
The report above mentions that Chelsea have always kept an eye on Abraham ever since they sold him.
Apparently, there may be a solution that could see him return to the Blues and Romelu Lukaku make his loan move from Chelsea to Roma a permanent one.
This comes after journalist Simon Phillips reported via his Substack earlier this month that Abraham is on Chelsea’s shortlist of potential signings in the striker position.
Our feeling is that Abraham would be great back in England’s top division. Chelsea isn’t the right fit for either party, though.
If Mauricio Pochettino’s side do decide to go and sign another frontman next year, we want a high-profile player with a clean slate at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking via talkSPORT last year, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher described Abraham as “amazing”. We can only see it ending in tears if the Roma star returns.
