Chelsea only signed Renato Veiga from Basel last summer, but the defender’s career at Stamford Bridge already appears to be over.
Chelsea loaned Veiga to Juventus in the January transfer window and look open to offloading him permanently now.
Last month, it was reported that Chelsea could sell Veiga after failing to hand the 21-year-old guarantees over playing in central defence.
Veiga was used in that area of the pitch during his loan spell at Juventus, and it looks like he wants to remain there.

Chelsea could offer Renato Veiga to Bayern Munich in deal for Kim Min-jae
With Chelsea open to letting Veiga go, they could use him to sign Bayern Munich star Kim Min-jae.
In April, it was claimed that Chelsea contacted people close to Kim about a potential move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
That interest still looks to be there, with Tuttomercatoweb reporting that Chelsea are just one club who are currently looking at the centre-half.
According to the Italian publication, the Blues are now considering offering Veiga to Bayern in a deal that would see Kim move in the opposite direction.
The 28-year-old helped Bayern to reclaim the Bundesliga title from Bayer Leverkusen last season, making 27 league appearances under Vincent Kompany.

Chelsea should stick with Trevoh Chalobah
Kim could be a good addition to Enzo Maresca‘s backline. The South Korean has height, standing at 6’3″, and experience.
Kim has nearly 70 caps for his country and also won the Serie A title with Napoli back in the 2022/23 season.
Chelsea will not be any worse off if they keep Trevoh Chalobah in defence, though. The 26-year-old has not disappointed since returning from his loan at Crystal Palace, helping the Blues to win the Club World Cup after starting in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.
Chalobah finished the tournament with an average of 3.2 clearances per game, which was the second highest in Chelsea’s squad (as per WhoScored), showing that he knows how to deal with danger. Chelsea fans want Chalobah to stay at the club and have good reason to.
