Despite not lacking attackers in their squad, it looks like Chelsea could sign another winger in 2025.
Right now, Chelsea have Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto, Jadon Sancho and Mykhailo Mudryk, who can all play out wide.
Cole Palmer can also be deployed on the right, showing how much quality Enzo Maresca has on the flanks.
Even so, another wide man could be on his way. Last month, it was claimed that Chelsea have already made Karim Adeyemi their top priority.

Enzo Maresca driving Chelsea’s interest in Karim Adeyemi
It has once again been reported that Adeyemi is at the top of Chelsea’s shortlist ahead of 2025.
According to Tutto Juve, Chelsea have made Adeyemi their top target, with Maresca keen on the player.
The outlet claims that Maresca really appreciates the 22-year-old’s pace and that his price tag is €50m (£42m).
He has been in good form for Borussia Dortmund this season, scoring three goals in the Champions League. Adeyemi wanted to join Juventus in the last transfer window, but nothing happened in the end.
| Karim Adeyemi’s 2024/25 stats | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Bundesliga | 5 | 2 | 3 |
| Champions League | 2 | 3 | 0 |
| DFB-Pokal | 1 | 0 | 0 |
Chelsea already have fast wingers
Chelsea are not exactly lacking pace on the wings. Neto and Mudryk are both quite speedy players.
If Chelsea are going to sign a new wide attacker, then they have to prioritise someone who does crazy numbers, a player like Mohamed Salah, for example.
Someone like that is going to be an upgrade on what Maresca has, not so much Adeyemi when you look at his figures.
The only problem is it is not easy to find someone like Salah on the market. If it was, then everyone would have a forward like the Egyptian.
Ultimately, Chelsea do not need to prioritise signing a new winger, especially if it is Adeyemi, who may need to do a bit more before moving to the Premier League. Maresca can be more than pleased with what he has already got.
