Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho could join Chelsea before the transfer window closes on Friday.
Jadon Sancho is waiting for Chelsea to come in for him, though the Blues are currently up against Juventus for his signature.
A move to either club would probably be good for the 24-year-old, who is unlikely to be part of Erik ten Hag’s plans this season.
The Dutchman has already left Sancho out of United’s first two Premier League games against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion.

How Jadon Sancho feels about Chelsea
If Chelsea can agree some sort of deal with United to sign Sancho, with Raheem Sterling perhaps moving to United, they should not find it too hard to convince the wide man to put pen to paper on a contract.
That is because Sancho has always been attracted to Chelsea, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking about the England international on his YouTube channel, he said: “My information at this time is that Sancho is open to both moves.
“Chelsea because Chelsea has always been attractive to Jadon Sancho, also in the past. And also Juventus because Juve presented him an ambitious project.”
Why Jadon Sancho should join Chelsea before Friday’s transfer deadline
If there is an opportunity for Sancho to join Chelsea, then he should take it. Much was expected of him after he signed for United from Borussia Dortmund back in 2021.
Sancho joined United for big money, arriving in a £73m deal, after some excellent seasons at Dortmund. However, that has not translated over to England.
He can still prove himself in the Premier League, though, by joining Chelsea. Enzo Maresca already has a lot of attackers, so Sancho is not going to be a guaranteed starter at Stamford Bridge.
However, if he fancies the challenge of competing against the likes of Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke for a spot and proving himself in the English top flight, then he should move to west London.
Of course, Chelsea still need to agree a deal with United for him, and that could hinge on whether they can get their Premier League rivals to take Sterling from them.
