The last two days of the summer transfer window are set to be as busy as ever for Chelsea, as they look to put the final touches on what has been a hectic few months.

Even this late in the day, talk goes on about bringing in more reinforcements, while the club also look to sell or loan around 12 players.

The future of Raheem Sterling is still something the Blues would love to sort out, however the list of suitors for him in the next 48 hours is looking limited.

One potential side that have cropped up as an option for Sterling are Manchester United, however that would likely also see Chelsea need to help their rivals in taking one of their out of favour players off their hands.

The clear option for that is Jadon Sancho, with John Obi Mikel stating that he’d be happy to have Sancho at the club.

Jadon Sancho waiting for a move to Chelsea

According to The Guardian, the England international is putting a pause on a potential move to Juventus because he wants to see if Chelsea are going to put in an offer to sign him.

A winger certainly does not feel as if it is what Chelsea need right now, especially after the exciting addition of Pedro Neto from Wolves.

A striker would be more what the Blues are looking for, with them holding a long-term interest in Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea looking at new striker

Reports late in the window have suggested that Chelsea believe Osimhen could be headed to Saudi Arabia, and they are looking at other targets in the final 48 hours of the window.

This could see them turn the way of Ivan Toney, who is also subject of Saudi interest, with the Blues lining up a cheap bid to test Brentford’s resolve.

Sancho is clearly a talented player, however does not feel as if it is the move Chelsea need to be pursuing right now.
