Brighton star Moises Caicedo isn’t 100 per cent certain about joining Liverpool amid claims Chelsea still think they can sign him.
That is according to Dharmesh Sheth.
The Sky Sports journalist has just dropped potentially a big update in the wild transfer saga of Moises Caicedo.
Apparently, the 21-year-old midfielder is having second thoughts about a move to Anfield. There’s no word on whether Chelsea have made a fresh attempt to sign him, though.
Sheth claimed on Twitter very recently that: “Told Moises Caicedo having second thoughts about Liverpool move. Player & representatives still in London. No official word Chelsea have returned.”

The Athletic previously explained that Liverpool have agreed a £110million deal with Brighton for Caicedo to trump Chelsea’s £100million bid. They added that the Ecuador international was due to undergo a Reds medical on Friday as they tried to finalise a transfer quickly.
However, The Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg reported on Twitter during the past couple of hours that Chelsea still haven’t given up all hope of signing Caicedo and think they can get him.
Now the Brighton man is having doubts, we’re not sure which way this transfer is going to swing next.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed in this morning’s press conference that his side have agreed a deal for Caicedo, as quoted by Shamoon Hafez on Twitter.
The fun doesn’t stop there because Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino will sit down for a press conference at 1pm today.
You couldn’t make it up that Chelsea and Liverpool face off this Sunday in a Premier League opener.
