The Victor Osimhen to Chelsea rumours have really picked up over this past week as the Blues’ search for a new striker goes on.
Chelsea have been linked with Victor Osimhen for a while, but things went a bit quiet until it emerged that Napoli could be willing to engage in a swap deal.
The swap deal would see Romelu Lukaku join Napoli and Osimhen move to Chelsea. Of course, swap deals are never that simple.
But if Chelsea can pull this one off, it would be a fantastic bit of business. The club would be getting a top striker while getting rid of someone who is not part of the club’s plans.
Osimhen, however, may need a bit of convincing before deciding to move to west London.

Chelsea facing Victor Osimhen problem
Most clubs in the world would probably take Osimhen, especially in a deal that would see them offload one of their unwanted players.
The 25-year-old is one of the top strikers in Italy, scoring 17 goals in all competitions last season. However, Osimhen does not look desperate to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Osimhen is not exactly excited about the prospect of being included in a swap deal with Lukaku.
Fabrizio Romano has also claimed that Osimhen isn’t thinking about joining Chelsea temporarily in a potential loan deal.
Victor Osimhen to Chelsea sounds too good to be true
Osimhen joining Chelsea and Lukaku moving to Napoli makes so much sense for all parties involved.
At the same time, it just sounds too good to be true if you are a Chelsea supporter. Not only would the club be finally getting rid of Lukaku, but they would also be acquiring a quality No.9.
There is still time for it to happen and it is hard to imagine Enzo Maresca being against such a deal. But there are a lot of factors to consider, such as whether Osimhen is actually keen on joining the Italian’s squad this summer.
