Tosin Adarabioyo is one Chelsea player who is being spoken about a lot at the moment.

Tosin Adarabioyo is currently being linked with a move away from Chelsea, while it was the central defender who scored the opening goal in his side’s 3-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.

It has been reported that Tottenham are thinking about making a move for Adarabioyo this month as they look to improve their backline.

The 27-year-old only arrived at Chelsea in the 2024 summer transfer window, joining from west London rivals Fulham after his contract there expired.

Tosin Adarabioyo happy at Chelsea

Adarabioyo has not been one of the first names on the Chelsea teamsheet this season.

In total, the former Fulham man has only made eight starts in the Premier League. However, despite that and the interest that Adarabioyo is attracting, it does not look like he will be leaving the club in January.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Adarabioyo is happy at Chelsea, while the Blues have no intention of selling him this month.

Having signed him for nothing, Chelsea could easily make profit on Adarabioyo, but for now that does not seem to be their plan.

Enzo Maresca has tough decision to make ahead of Man City game

Chelsea’s next Premier League match is against Manchester City at the Etihad. If Levi Colwill is fit enough to play, the 21-year-old will be expected to return to the starting line-up. He is Chelsea’s first-choice centre-back.

It means one of Adarabioyo or Trevoh Chalobah will have to drop out, despite both men playing well in the Wolves win.

The latter was phenomenal, taking no time to settle into Enzo Maresca‘s team following his return from Crystal Palace.

Chalobah caught Alan Smith’s eye early in the game before being named man of the match by the Arsenal legend.

It will be interesting to see who keeps their place should Colwill get the go-ahead from the medical team.
