Juventus need a new striker this summer as Dusan Vlahovic closes in on a departure from the Serie A giants, and a Chelsea player could end up replacing the Serbian powerhouse.
This summer, there are plenty of high-profile free transfers available, and Vlahovic is one of them. After more than four years with the Old Lady, former Fiorentina star Vlahovic will see his deal expire this month.
Nicolas Jackson or Liam Delap, which one are you keeping? Tell us who and why!
Plenty of clubs have been linked with Vlahovic. Barcelona need to replace Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich need cover for Harry Kane after losing Nicolas Jackson. But Chelsea are winning the Vlahovic race.
According to reports in Italy, Chelsea want Vlahovic because he offers a different profile to Joao Pedro. Now, a Chelsea player might end up replacing Jackson, with Juventus opening talks with the London side.
Juventus make an enquiry to sign Chelsea man Nicolas Jackson
Juventus have already been linked with Jackson, while N’Golo Kante’s Fenerbahce have also been touted with signing the Senegal ace. It is unclear if Jackson has a future at Chelsea after his loan at Bayern.

Now, a report from CalcioMercato says that Juventus have started their search for a new striker. The Old Lady have made enquiries to sign Jackson from Chelsea, and Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal this summer.
With Vlahovic going, there is a world where Jackson and Vlahovic swap clubs this summer. It would also see Chelsea land themselves a decent profit between the two clubs, with Vlahovic going on a free.

Xabi Alonso has his SEVEN Chelsea ‘untouchables’ 👀
Do you agree with them?
If Jackson does remain at Chelsea, he will play as back-up to Pedro, who has emerged as one of seven ‘untouchables’ ahead of the Alonso era. Alex Crook thinks Jackson will only return to then be sold.
But reports have also suggested that Jackson could be given a new position under Alonso, as a left-sided winger. Chelsea do need a left-sided winger this summer, and have been linked with Milan’s Rafael Leao.
Jackson, who was in action for Senegal against Saudi Arabia overnight, could turn into a different player under Alonso. Time will tell, but for now, Jackson’s future at Chelsea remains a complete unknown.
