Chelsea have reportedly approached LOSC Lille over potential summer moves for striker Victor Osimhen and defender Gabriel Magalhaes.
According to a report from French outlet Le10 Sport, contrary to the rumours, Chelsea have not taken a back seat in the transfer market and are prepared to spend big.
They report said Chelsea have had a good relationship with Lille since Eden Hazard’s transfer in 2012 and have kept the communication with the Ligue 1 side over the years.
And Chelsea have reportedly contacted Lille to make them aware of their interest in Osimhen and Magalhaes.

Osimhen has had a remarkable record of 13 goals and four assists in 27 appearances in Ligue 1 since joining from Wolfsburg last summer.
However, Le10 Sport also adds the 21-year-old could cost Chelsea more than the £72million Arsenal paid for Nicholas Pepe last year.
Meanwhile, Everton are still in the pole position in the race for Gabriel, the report claimed.

The 22-year-old has reportedly visited the Toffees’ facilities and spoken with Carlo Ancelotti, but the Gabriel has yet to make a final decision regarding his future.
Lille president Gerard Lopez previously told Sky Sports: “It’s true that he would like to go and try something else out.
“We haven’t taken that decision yet, but he’s received a number of offers.
“I feel he’s closer to one club than others, but nothing’s done yet so we’ll see.”
