Tottenham are now the latest club to be linked with Chelsea’s emerging talent Levi Colwill.

Levi Colwill, who’s still only 20, is a young defender currently impressing during his season-long loan at Brighton.

The future of the England Under-21 international is something which is now being discussed heavily in the transfer rumour mill.

He’s due to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, but will he still be a Chelsea player by the end of the summer transfer window?

According to The Sun, Spurs are now admirers of Colwill and are monitoring the Chelsea-owned defender.

It is understood that the 20-year-old plans to sort his future when he’s returns to the Blues, but it will depend on who the next permanent manager is in West London.

The report indicates Spurs are one of numerous clubs checking on him.

This comes after GOAL recently claimed that Liverpool have set their sights on Colwill.

However, journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Chelsea won’t be selling Colwill unless he makes demands to leave this summer.

We don’t know what the next Chelsea manager will make of Colwill.

However, The Telegraph previously claimed that Graham Potter had big ideas for Colwill when he was Chelsea manager because he was in his first-team plans for next season.

He’s a left-footed centre-half that ticks so many boxes as a modern defender.

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, who’s working with him at the Amex Stadium, described him as “fantastic” earlier this season.

It’s going to be interesting to see how he performs in the final weeks of the season for a Brighton team with plenty on the line. The Seagulls are chasing a European finish in the Premier League, plus they’re in the FA Cup semi-finals.
