Journalist Matteo Moretto has claimed on Twitter that Chelsea will sign both Josko Gvardiol and Christopher Nkunku if ‘nothing goes wrong’.
Blues fans will have got a great impression from both RB Leipzig players last night in their crucial Champions League match with holders Real Madrid.
The pair were on the scoresheet in the first half, before former Blue Timo Werner finished off the La Liga side.

Reports have claimed that Chelsea held a secret medical over the summer for the attacker, after making an attempt to sign him during the window.
The Frenchman ended up signing a new contract with the Bundesliga side, although the release clause included certainly encouraged an elite side to make a move for him in a future window.
The Blues are trying to jump the queue and get the deal done early, while they are also looking to complete another signing they missed out on this summer.
Chelsea close to Gvardiol and Nkunku
Todd Boehly made a late move to sign the Croatian defender during the summer, with it including a potential loan back to Leipzig.
However, a deal couldn’t be reached.
Despite this, Moretto has reported that the Blues are still favourites to complete both deals.
He said: “Joško Gvardiol and Christopher Nkunku, two players who, if nothing goes wrong, will end up playing for Chelsea. Today the Blues have it very advanced with both.”

The deals would no doubt be brilliant options for Graham Potter to have at his disposal. Gvardiol is showing signs of being one of the best young defenders in the world.
Nkunku meanwhile has shown over the last two seasons that he has developed an eye for goal, contributing regularly both domestically and in Europe.
With the Blues still missing a number of big opportunities, a clinical attacker could set them up for bigger and better things.
