Chelsea have a plan to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho before the transfer window closes tonight.

Jadon Sancho has become a late target for Chelsea, who are still trying to improve their attack despite already bringing in Joao Felix and Pedro Neto.

Chelsea are an attractive club to Sancho, and it looks like he could move to the Blues today.

Chelsea are now trying to offload one of their players to a Premier League rival to help facilitate the 24-year-old’s arrival.

Chelsea trying to sell Raheem Sterling to Arsenal

In their bid to sign Sancho from United, Chelsea are trying to offload Raheem Sterling to Arsenal.

On Chelsea and Juventus’ interest in the former, journalist Fabrice Hawkins posted on X: “Jadon Sancho and Juventus try to reach an agreement on salary. Juventus management believes the deal is possible. The player spoke with Thiago Motta.

“On the other hand Chelsea still pushing to sell Raheem Sterling to Arsenal so they can afford Jadon Sancho.”

Sterling is out of Enzo Maresca‘s plans, with the Italian confirming again on Wednesday that he will not be handing the 29-year-old minutes this season.

Jadon Sancho to replace Raheem Sterling at Chelsea?

It appears, then, that Sancho could replace Sterling at Stamford Bridge today. Both men are left wingers, though they can also play on the right.

However, having already signed Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea do not really need a direct replacement for Sterling.

They clearly see Sancho as an opportunity late in this transfer window, though, and seem prepared to take it.

For Sancho, it could be a very good move. He gets to return to London, play for another big club and end his bad relationship with Erik ten Hag.

It has been claimed that Sancho doesn’t believe Ten Hag will utilise him properly, and a separation now looks to be best for all parties.

With Chelsea already having so many attacking options, though, you have to wonder if Sancho is even going to get regular game time under Maresca. It will be interesting to see should this transfer go through.

It could impact someone like Mykhailo Mudryk, who is yet to impress since joining the club in 2023.
