Chelsea are reportedly hoping to sign both Marcus Thuram and Mykhaylo Mudryk, rather than one or the other.
According to Ben Jacobs, Todd Boehly wants to bag a brace of new recruits in January, as appose to just a solo package.
Thuram and Mudryk have been mentioned as potential targets of the Stamford Bridge owner, attackers who are viewed as improvements on Graham Potter’s current front line.

Chelsea will take aim at Marcus Thuram
Hitting the back of the net remains a huge problem for Chelsea under their latest manager.
Raheem Sterling is the club’s top scorer this season with six, despite only grabbing two goals since the start of October.
In this period, Thuram has converted on seven occasions for Borussia Monchengladbach.
The striker is only behind Chelsea-bound Christopher Nkunku in the Bundesliga scoring charts this term.
His domestic form earned him a spot in Didier Deschamps’ French World Cup squad.
Thuram made four appearances in the competition, including his excellent performance in the final where he assisted Kylian Mbappe’s late equaliser in normal time.

Mudryk is also on the menu
This display against Argentina apparently persuaded Boehly to push Thuram to the top of his wish list.
Also at the very summit of the agenda is Shakhtar Donetsk’s prized possession.
Mudryk is being heavily tipped to set sail for one section of London this month, whether that be to Chelsea or Arsenal.
Both capital city rivals are seemingly in a race for the 22-year-old’s £85m signature, despite claims the player himself is favouring the Emirates over Stamford Bridge.
