The Chelsea academy speaks for itself in its ability to create some of the best talents in football.
Last night saw youngsters Tyrique George and Josh Acheampong feature for the first team in the Carabao Cup win over Barrow.
A number of other players are knocking on the door too. Kiano Dyer is expected to be given chances in the Conference League this season as Enzo Maresca hopes to keep his squad as fresh as possible.
The Blues did have to say goodbye to one of their most promising talents over the summer after they couldn’t convince Rio Ngumoha to sign a new deal with the club.
It looks as if there is a new serious talent coming through in the form of 15-year-old Ibrahim Rabbaj.

Ibrahim Rabbaj averaging nearly three goals and assists a game
The teenager was called up to the England U16 side yesterday, as he looks to make the next step in his personal career.
It looks as if he is a big fish in a small pond when it comes to playing at his own level though. Rising Stars have shared his extraordinary stats playing at the U16 level so far.
They said: “Ibrahim Rabbaj (15) is another star in the making in Cobham (@ChelseaFC Training Center)… and he was also called-up for the U16 English National Team
“Ibrahim’s insane U16 Stats: 40 Games
52 Goals
60 Assists
112 G+A. One to watch closely.”
Ibrahim Rabbaj a ‘star in the making’ at Chelsea
Averaging nearly three goals and assists a game is something that is very rarely seen at any standard, and there is no doubt excitement over what Rabbaj can offer if his development continues.
There is reportedly concern coming from the academy that the pathway to the first team is not looking so clear at the minute following the plethora of top young players they are signing from around the world.
The most notable examples of this are Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian, both of which will be joining the first team from next summer.
