Four Chelsea players included in latest England U16 squad

Chelsea’s presence in the England youth sides has been a feature for a number of years now due to the high ceiling of players coming through at Cobham.

While they actually lost one of their most promising talents in the summer transfer window in the form of Rio Ngumoha, there are still countless amount of youngsters making their marks for the youth sides.

There is reportedly concern stemming down to the academy that the pathway for them to eventually reach first team status is not clear right now off the back of mass signings from around the world.

The likes of Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez are promising big things when they join up with the first team next summer.

In terms of those already at the club, a number of young Blues have been selected to represent England at the U16 level for the upcoming fixtures.

According to The Secret Scout, Toby Bell, Ryan Kavuma, Charlie Holland and Ibrahim Rabbaj have been included in the side who will take on Ukraine, Israel and France.

This will be a great opportunity for those players to show their talents on an international scale, with them no doubt keen to climb up the ladder at Cobham.

They should take inspiration from some of the Chelsea youngsters who seem to be on the radar of the first team at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea youngsters getting chance in cup competitions

Kiano Dyer was seen in first team training yesterday as he hopes to be involved in some capacity in the Carabao Cup tonight against Barrow.

The teenager has also been named in the squad for the Conference League, with there being an opportunity for minutes there in the absence of some of their biggest stars.

Cole Palmer, Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana have all been left out of the squad for the group stages of the competition, with load management on the mind of Enzo Maresca and co.
