It was quite a positive international break for Chelsea, who had a lot of their players in action.
Noni Madueke, for example, managed to make his England debut and was also able to provide an assist. His Chelsea teammate Mykhailo Mudryk impressed for Ukraine, too, in their 3-2 loss to the Czech Republic.
However, Enzo Maresca will not be happy with the injury picked up by one of his summer signings.
Filip Jorgensen was taken off in Denmark U21s’ 5-0 win against the Czech Republic on Tuesday. If it is an injury that could keep the 22-year-old out of action for a few weeks, then the timing could not be any worse.

Enzo Maresca could miss chance to test out Filip Jorgensen
So far this season, Jorgensen has only been able to make two appearances for Chelsea, with both coming in the Conference League.
Maresca has stated that Jorgensen is his cup keeper, which is why an injury now is bad news for both manager and player.
Chelsea have cup games coming up, taking on Barrow in the Carabao Cup on September 24 and Gent in the Conference League at the start of October.
It is a chance for Maresca to see Jorgensen further and for the goalkeeper to try and oust Robert Sanchez out of the team. But he may not get it now.
Filip Jorgensen not the only injury doubt for Chelsea
Unfortunately for Maresca, Jorgensen is not the only injury doubt that the Italian has to worry about heading into Chelsea’s game against Bournemouth this weekend.
Romeo Lavia and Malo Gusto were also carrying problems just before the international break, so there will be concerns about them.
Cole Palmer should at least be available, though. Palmer has been training at Cobham, despite pulling out of the England squad for their games against the Republic of Ireland and Finland.
With fixtures in the Premier League, Carabao Cup and Conference League all coming up, Maresca will not want to see squad players like Jorgensen picking up serious injuries.
