Chelsea youngster Alex Matos has now been spotted in first team training ahead of tomorrow night’s EFL Cup tie against Blackburn.
Pictures on the club’s official 5th Stand App show the 19-year-old as one of a host of young players involved in training in the days prior to the game.
Matos has actually been one of the youngsters who has been seen in and around the first team this season under Mauricio Pochettino.

Perhaps mostly down to injury problems at the club, the former Norwich City starlet was actually handed his debut earlier in the season against Fulham.
This saw a number of his first team teammates take to social media to send him praise, with it coming no bigger than from club captain Reece James.
It remains to be seen whether Pochettino looks to Matos as one of the youngsters to play a role in tomorrow’s game, with a refresh certainly being needed for a large amount of their players right now.
