A common theme in the games that Chelsea have dropped points in of late are goalkeeping errors costing them in big moments.

Both Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen have been given the opportunity to grasp the place between the sticks, however have been at fault for goals that have cost the Blues points.

Djordje Petrovic’s Chelsea future

Maresca has been defiant in his backing of whoever has been starting in goal for his side this season, however is reportedly beginning to push for solutions between the sticks.

The Chelsea manager is insisting Chelsea sign a new goalkeeper this summer to suit his playing style, with them being able to play out from the back.

This would be damning for Petrovic’s chances given it is essentially the reason he was moved on in the summer.

It has already been reported Petrovic is likely to leave this summer, and will not be short of suitors following a great season in Ligue 1.
