Over the last few years, some clubs will feel that they have done some good business with Chelsea.
Nottingham Forest are a prime example after signing Callum Hudson-Odoi from their Premier League rivals.
The winger did not even cost Forest £5m and is now one of their best players, scoring the winning goal in their 1-0 victory against Manchester City on Saturday. Chelsea’s decision to sell Hudson-Odoi now looks like a bit of a mistake.
The 24-year-old is not the only footballer they have sold on the cheap lately, though.

Diego Moreira tearing up Ligue 1
Last summer, Chelsea sold Diego Moreira to their sister club Strasbourg for around £1.7m, which is now starting to look like a real bargain.
Since arriving at Strasbourg, Moreira has only been able to score one goal in 23 Ligue 1 appearances.
However, the young winger, who has played at left-back at times this season, has managed to register five assists.
His form of late has been good, while his dribbling has also been impressive. He is giving defenders in France a tough time right now.
| Diego Moreira’s last five games | Succesful dribbles | Sofascore rating |
| Auxerre | 3 | 6.2 |
| Brest | 2 | 7.3 |
| Lens | 2 | 7.3 |
| Montpellier | 5 | 7.8 |
| Angers | 3 | 7.4 |
With the amount of attacking options that Enzo Maresca has at Chelsea, there was little room for Moreira.
But with the Portugal U21 international being at the Blues’ sister club, they could always re-sign him if they wanted to.
Whatever happens in the future, being at Chelsea in the first place was a dream for Moreira.

What Diego Moreira said about Chelsea exit
While Moreira was proud about his move to Chelsea, the former Benfica youngster was not sad about his exit.
He claimed being at Strasbourg was a “relief”, with the ex-Blues player able to get some playing time under Liam Rosenior.
When Moreira spoke about his move from Chelsea to Strasbourg last year, he said: “Since I got here, it’s been a relief. I rediscover this joy of playing football, of having fun. Then everything is great: the coach, the club, the infrastructure, the quality of life, the city.”
For as well as Moreira has done of late, he is probably not at a level to deliver at Chelsea yet. A transfer to Strasbourg is something that has arguably worked out for all parties.
