Chelsea are certainly heading in the right direction on the pitch under new manager Enzo Maresca.

The Blues made it three away wins in a row at the weekend with a dominant 3-0 win over West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Maresca seems to have settled on a line-up he believes can get results right now, with Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke pushing themselves to the front of the queue when it comes to wingers.

The Manchester United loanee has made it two assists in his two appearances so far for the club, with him hitting a new level than his former side.

This has seen Pedro Neto struggle for prolonged minutes since his £54m summer move from Wolves. He is still waiting to open his account for the club.

Jeff Stelling has questioned whether or not the winger could well be regretting his decision to join the Blues over the summer.

He said on TalkSPORT: “I mentioned Pedro Neto. I just wonder if he is regretting in any way shape or form his move because he can’t get a start at Chelsea.

“You do want to see him on the football pitch because he has had so many injuries over the years, he has played so little football.”

Starts could be coming the Portugal international’s way soon as the fixtures begin to pile up in the coming weeks.

The Blues take on Barrow in the EFL Cup at Stamford Bridge this week, however it is another winger at the club who is potentially playing for his career in that game tomorrow night.

It has been claimed that Mykhailo Mudryk is being handed a last chance to make an impact at Chelsea, with reports already beginning to state they could be interested in a sale in the coming transfer window.

Maresca has stated that he sees Neto as a right-winger, meaning he will be competing with Madueke for his minutes in the coming weeks.
