One of the stars of the season so far for Chelsea didn’t even start the first game of the season.
Noni Madueke has been a revelation on the right wing since he gained enough trust from Enzo Maresca to start from the second Premier League game of the campaign.
Madueke put in the statistically best performance in Europe during the win over Wolves, recording his first hat-trick as a Chelsea player in the process.

This excellent form has not gone unnoticed at the international level either, with him earning his first call-up to the England senior side for the upcoming fixtures.
While Maresca has put some faith in him since coming in to the club, it looks as if the winger has a lot of respect for a former manager for the part he has played too.
Madueke praises Pochettino
Madueke told TalkSPORT that Mauricio Pochettino had taught him a lot about the maturity it takes to be a top-level Premier League player.
He said: “I think Pochettino probably helped me mature a lot as a player in terms of the responsibility, being reliable, being robust, being able to play games one after the other, and keep a consistent level. He taught me a lot in that aspect.”
Chelsea sign Jadon Sancho on deadline day
The winger is facing some serious competition for places at Stamford Bridge when he returns from international duty, with them adding Jadon Sancho to their ranks on deadline day.
The club reportedly see Sancho’s best position on the left wing, suggesting that Pedro Neto could be about to shift across to the right, a position he actually seems to prefer player.
There is a conveyer belt of talent coming through the door too, with youngsters Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez ready to join up with the first team from next summer.
The Brazilian is reportedly also in line for his first appearance for his national team after being called up to the senior side for the first time.
