Chelsea have recently been linked with bringing back one of the most divisive players in recent history.

It has been claimed they are considering signing Joao Felix, with the belief being that Atletico Madrid need to sell a player to complete their own business.

This includes the signing of Conor Gallagher, who has returned to London after the deal stalled.

It looked as if Chelsea were already going to be able to help out, however a deal to sign Samu Omorodion has collapsed.

With that off the table, attention turned to the Portuguese attacker. It has already been stated that Felix would be very keen on joining Chelsea.

Good chance Joao Felix joins Chelsea

It was even claimed that the player would be willing to take a significant cut on his wages to return to the club he spent half a season on loan with.

However, a deal still needs to be reached between the two clubs, with them seemingly apart on valuation right now.

Nevertheless, Fabrizio Romano has said that there is a good chance the deal gets done before this month’s deadline.

Chelsea fans have not been wowed by the prospect of Felix joining their club, with them wondering if he is really the profile of signing they need to be making right now.

Chelsea linked with Victor Osimhen

Many will be more fussed on signing an outright striker, especially after they came so close to adding Omorodion to their ranks.

Reports linking them to Victor Osimhen refuse to go away, with him being a target of the club for well over a year now.

There is currently talks ongoing between Chelsea and Napoli, which also involve outcast Romelu Lukaku and a potential permanent move away.
