Tyrique George is set to complete a permanent move to Everton in the coming days after the Toffees bid a total package worth £24m for the winger. Now, Chelsea are set to receive another £30m offer.

Despite failing to score or assist while on loan at Everton during the second half of last season, George is the subject of an initial £18m bid from Everton, while the Toffees will pay a further £6m more in add-ons.

Trevoh Chalobah has been getting away it for too long 😑

This is alarming!

Chelsea have now raked in an initial £47.5m from Marc Cucurella, £4m from Jimmy-Jay Morgan, £17m in compensation from Enzo Maresca’s move to Man City and then George. A total of £92.5m in the coffers.

And if add-ons are met, beyond £100m. That could rapidly rise next week too, with another £30m offer expected in the next 48 hours. Trevoh Chalobah is set to be the subject of a big offer from Inter Milan.

Inter Milan set to table Trevoh Chalobah bid early next week

After his call-up to the England World Cup squad, Chelsea defender Chalobah has been the subject of intense interest from Como and Inter Milan. Chelsea rejected Como’s £25m bid in the last few weeks.

Chelsea are requesting a £35m fee for Chalobah, but a little bit of compromise could be possible. Now, according to Sky Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio, a new bid for Chalobah is expected in the coming days.

Indeed, Di Marzio reports that Inter will table a bid of £26m up front, with £4m more in add-ons. It is still below Chelsea’s asking price, but a little bit of wiggle room and a deal could be done for Chalobah.

Chelsea need to accept Chalobah bid for multiple reasons

The offer for Chalobah is a good one, and there are many reasons why BlueCo need to show a little bit of compromise. The first being that Chalobah had a poor season with Chelsea, struggling with crosses.

What is a fair price for Malo Gusto? 💸

BlueCo are proving stubborn.

This is a version of Chalobah where his stock is not at its highest. Secondly, the FFP profit of Chalobah is 100%; all of the money received by Chelsea can be reinvested. The same goes for winger George.

But more importantly, Chelsea need to accept a little bit less than their asking price because it gives them time. They can sell Chalobah now, or wait a few weeks for a little bit more but have less time to replace.

BlueCo are known to be stubborn. Their asking price for Malo Gusto is ridiculous. But accepting the £30m package from Inter next week is the right move; they can step up their interest in Maxence Lacroix.
