Speculation linking Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho with a move to Chelsea is refusing to go away.
At present, Garnacho does not appear to be a priority for the Blues, but a switch to Stamford Bridge is not being ruled out.
Last week, it was reported that a Garnacho and Nicolas Jackson swap deal was possible, with United currently monitoring the Chelsea striker.
While Chelsea have Garnacho on their radar, they seemingly have at least one concern about the 21-year-old.

Chelsea looking into Alejandro Garnacho’s character
A lot has been said about Garnacho’s character over the past year after a few incidents.
In February, for example, Garnacho headed straight down the tunnel during one game after being substituted, an incident United manager Ruben Amorim had to speak about in his post-match press conference.
According to Telegraph journalist Matt Law, Chelsea are now making checks on Garnacho’s character so that they can make their own evaluation of the Argentina international.
Discussing Chelsea’s interest in Garnacho on the London Is Blue podcast, Law said: “Until they’ve signed Xavi Simons or until the day in which they say, ‘Right, attackers done, thank you very much, outs and ins we’re happy with’, Garnacho will remain a target.
“They like his data, they like his profile. I know there are a lot of question marks about his character and what not, and I know that’s something within the club they’ve focused on highly in terms of trying to look into that and trying to decide themselves whether they think it’s a United problem or a Garnacho problem.”
With Garnacho clearly not being the attacker on the top of Chelsea’s shortlist, if anything negative comes back, then that is likely to rule out a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Two more reasons why Chelsea have yet to make move for Alejandro Garnacho
Needing to be sure about Garnacho’s character is not the only thing that is holding Chelsea back from presenting an offer for him.
As Law alluded to, Chelsea’s focus is on Simons and his arrival could potentially end their interest in Garnacho.
It has also been claimed that Chelsea must sell Jackson and Christopher Nkunku before they can bring in Garnacho.
Whatever the case, Garnacho remains a player Chelsea like but just not as much as Simons and Jamie Gittens.
Gittens was the winger the Blues decided to prioritise earlier in the transfer window, which has not helped Garnacho’s cause as he seeks pastures new after a difficult season at Old Trafford.
