Callum Hudson-Odoi has now told Chelsea that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge as Mauricio Pochettino prepares to lose another player.
That is according to The Athletic.
So, what is the latest on Callum Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the England international spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, where he struggled with just one goal in 21 appearances.
Hudson-Odoi reported for pre-season training at Cobham on Tuesday morning, although it is said that he doesn’t expect to be at Chelsea for much longer, and would like to leave this summer.
The 22-year-old still has 12 months remaining on his contract, and it has been said that Chelsea value their academy graduate at £10m – as detailed by the Daily Mail.
However – according to London World – Chelsea could also terminate Hudson-Odoi’s contract to let him leave a year early, if he agrees to be paid half of his remaining salary upfront in a lump sum.

The Athletic believe the Wandsworth-born forward, who Conor Gallagher once called an “incredible” player when speaking to JD Sports, wants regular first-team football, and feels the time has come to leave the club he has played for since Under-8 level.
Hudson-Odoi wanted by many clubs
By the sounds of it, Hudson-Odoi is not short of options.
The Athletic add that Nottingham Forest, Fulham and AC Milan are interested in his services.
A switch to the San Siro would be a huge move for Hudson-Odoi, although there are many familiar faces who could help him settle in Italy, such as Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud.

Elsewhere – according to Ed Aarons of the Guardian – Crystal Palace have made contact with Hudson-Odoi’s representatives, but are yet to follow up their initial enquiry.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as the £120,000-a-week man prepares to leave Stamford Bridge.
