Chelsea have a young and talented striker in Marc Guiu, but the 19-year-old needs to leave the club this summer.
With Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson all currently at Stamford Bridge, Guiu will see little game time next season.
Newcastle United have Jackson on their radar, so there is a possibility of the Senegal international leaving Chelsea. But Guiu would still have Pedro and Delap ahead of him in the pecking order.
Ultimately, a loan move is needed, and the perfect destination may have just presented itself.

RB Leipzig loan could be perfect for Marc Guiu
On Wednesday, it emerged that Sunderland had made an approach to sign Guiu from Chelsea on loan.
Since then, it has also been reported that RB Leipzig are keen on Guiu as they prepare for the potential departure of Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko is of interest to two of Chelsea’s Premier League rivals, Manchester United and Newcastle.
If the Red Devils or the Magpies do manage to get their hands on Sesko, Chelsea should not hesitate to send Guiu to Leipzig on loan should they come knocking.
The German club are famous for developing young players, with Xavi Simons being just one of the latest. Simons could actually end up joining Chelsea this summer, and perhaps allowing Guiu to move in the opposite direction could make that deal easier to do.
The most important thing is that Guiu signs for an outfit where he is going to play. And Leipzig have shown down the years that they are willing to give footballers around his age a genuine opportunity.
Of course, with Sunderland being in the Premier League, a move to the Stadium of Light would not be bad either and could help prepare Guiu for life in the division in the future.

The Championship club Marc Guiu won’t be joining this summer
There has also been some interest in Guiu from the Championship. Ipswich Town have looked at Guiu, while Swansea City have also been linked with the Spaniard.
However, Guiu joining Swansea has recently been ruled out, and that is unlikely to change, given some of the other clubs who are considering him.
